Lock your Mac, seriously
- We recommend that you do not use a blank password but rather set up your Mac to auto-login to that user's account. However, if you insist on having a blank (or no) password for your account, make sure you first create another admin account that has a password, just in case you are locked out for not having a password.
- From the drop-down menu that appears you'll see an option to Lock Screen. Click this and your Mac will be secure until you re-enter the password. Lock the screen using Hot Corners.

This is all over the Internet but nobody using a Mac seems to know this, I have seen lots of fugly posts like 'install that shareware app', 'oh use this script that needs root, I use it and it does the job, so simple!', or 'ask your sexy neighbor to come and guard your computer for you', etc… crazy right? You can't lock the individual photos, but what you can do is go to system preference - parental controls- click the lock in the lower left hand corner - enter the password if any, if not you need to create one - check the box to create a guest account - check the box that allows only selected applications - click the arrow next to iLife - uncheck the box next to iphoto and whatever else you.

- If you want, complain to Apple, not to me, for doing something securely for once (people are good at that aren't they? ^^)
- Do something about it!!! Like below:
- Find your Wifi network card name, it should be en0 or en1 ( try in Terminal: ifconfig|grep ^en )
- In a Terminal: sudo /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Apple80211.framework/Versions/Current/Resources/airport en0 prefs DisconnectOnLogout=NO
- Type your password when requested Et Voila!
